Smith Investment Company Increases Quarterly Dividend 7 Percent
MILWAUKEE, July 25 PRNewswire-FirstCall — At its July 24 meeting, the Smith Investment Company (Pink Sheets: SMIC) Board of Directors voted to increase the company's quarterly dividend 7 percent to $.30 per share. The dividend will be payable Sept. 2 to shareholders of record Aug. 15.
Smith Investment is a diversified company with headquarters in Milwaukee, Wis. Its product lines include multicolor printing and related services and commercial warehousing, trucking and packaging. The company also owns a control position in A. O. Smith Corporation (NYSE: AOS).
