Cowboys & Indians Magazine Celebrates Willie Nelson: Still on the Road at 75
DALLAS, July 21 PRNewswire — Willie Nelson — part cowboy, part Indian, all icon — is the main attraction in the September issue of Cowboys and Indians, The Premier Magazine of The West, now on sale everywhere. In a cover-story profile, Joe Nick Patoski — author of the new biography "Willie Nelson: An Epic Life" — describes the Country music icon as immensely proud of his Cherokee roots, and avidly supportive of Native American causes. And, yes, he's still on the road, still making music with his friends.

"Even at 75," Patoski writes, "he's on the road more than he's off. But when he's not touring, you're most likely to find ol' Willie on Honeysuckle Rose IV, his biodiesel-powered touring bus, kind of a modern version of a stagecoach and then some, as if he was fixing to go somewhere even when he isn't.
