Skyhawks Sports Awards Franchise in Thurston County

SPOKANE, Wash., July 15 PRNewswire — Skyhawks Sports is proud to announce it has awarded a franchise to Bucknell Park, Inc. which is owned and operated by Joe DiDomenico and Bernie Keller in Lacey, Washington. Joe and Bernie, will now be offering Skyhawks sports camps, programs, clinics and leagues throughout Thurston County.

Since 1979 more than 1,000,000 children have attended a Skyhawks Sports program. Now, the nation's largest provider of sports camps, programs, clinics and leagues offers franchising opportunities.

"Joe and his partners will be a great addition to the Skyhawks family," says Skyhawks Executive Vice President Chris Stiles. "They are a motivated group that wants to enhance the sports experience for kids throughout the County." Skyhawks currently offers summer programs in Lacey and has been looking to expand its offerings throughout all of Thurston County.

Joe expects to utilize his company's newly acquired Bucknell Park to host many of his programs. The park contains five softball/baseball fields and two of them have newly installed artificial turf for two infields. "We have a lot of green space to work with so we aren't limited to offering just baseball or softball programs. We envision offering soccer and flag football as well as baseball programs at our facility throughout the year."

Currently Skyhawks Sports partners with Lacey Parks and Recreation Department to offer soccer, flag football, volleyball, basketball, baseball and tennis programs throughout the summer. Joe is expecting to offer those same programs next year and will be looking to expand more programs into additional locations.
