Ricoh Announces New EFI Color Print Controller to Maximize Workflow and Productivity

WEST CALDWELL, N.J., July 8 PRNewswire — Ricoh Americas Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced the availability of the EFI Fiery(R) E-7100 Print Controller for the Ricoh Aficio(R) MP C6000 and MP C7500 Series.

Designed as a user-friendly workflow optimization tool, the Fiery-based E-7100 Print Controller when paired with the Aficio MP C6000/MP C7500 series improves office productivity by delivering rapid project processing and queue management. The E-7100 is easy to navigate with a user interface that helps to increase efficiency through intuitive setup, submission, and monitoring features that ensure accurate color production across an array of reproduction tasks. In an effort to be user-friendly, the print server is operator adaptable and can make all color decisions for novices or allow expert users to fine tune their settings.

The intuitive icon driven interface of the E-7100 is customizable and can be arranged to display only the most commonly used features and settings. The Fiery driven key located on the Aficio MP C6000/ MP C7500 control panel allows users to quickly navigate through the print controller's options all at a touch of a button.

When paired with the Aficio MP C6000/ MP C7500 series, the E-7100 delivers consistent, predictable color output while at the same time works with the systems' scanning capabilities to deliver color files to a variety of destinations in multiple file formats.
