DPS Managing Partners Receive Belongership Directly From Turks & Caicos Islands Premier, The Honorable Dr. Michael Misick

AMBERGRIS CAY, TURKS & CAICOS, BWI, July 2 PRNewswire — The Honorable Dr. Michael Misick, Premier of the Turks & Caicos Islands in the British West Indies, bestowed Belongership on DPS Sporting Club Development Company, LLC., managing partners and Turks & Caicos Sporting Club at Ambergris Cay co- developers, Peter Pollak and Steve Schram, during the Grand Opening Celebration of the Harold Charles International Airport.

The honor of being given Belongership directly from the Premier of the Country is monumental and pure testimony to the efforts and successes that both Peter and Steve have brought to the Turks & Caicos Islands, especially Ambergris Cay. The possibility of acquiring Belongership status for persons not born to Turks & Caicos citizenship is generally restricted to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the islands.

Premier Misick discussed how both Peter and Steve have significantly added to the Turks & Caicos community by being exemplary developers and taking "the rough gem of Ambergris Cay and turning it into the rare jewel of the Turks & Caicos Islands. " Premier Misick commented on and recognized the environmental awareness and conservation efforts put forth at Turks & Caicos Sporting Club at Ambergris Cay, as well as complemented the island's highest quality of architecture, world-class amenities including the $22 million runway spanning 5,700 feet, and a superior work environment with on-site staff dormitories. Ambergris Cay serves as the highest standard of development within The Caribbean, and coupled with the DPS management expertise, time and capital invested in the Ambergris Cay project, Premier Misick finds Ambergris Cay to be his "favorite place on Earth."

Sustainable Tourism is reaching a new level of concern in the travel industry and Premier Misick applauded developers Peter and Steve for embarking on an amazing venture with Ambergris Cay, all the while developing through a responsible, environmentally-friendly and culturally-preserving means.

His Excellency Governor Richard Tauwhare also spoke at the Inaugural Ceremony celebrating Harold Charles International Airport, and was in complete agreement with Premier Misick on applauding Peter and Steve for the naturally preserved beauty of Ambergris Cay. Governor Tauwhare shared that both Peter and Steve should be rewarded for the commendable Ambergris Cay development and will continue to serve as an example of responsible real estate endeavors within the Turks & Caicos Islands.
