Another new key feature is the increased detection of malware with TruPrevent 2.0, designed to protect against unknown malware and attacks exploiting vulnerabilities on a consumer's PC.
"Traditional security solutions are no longer enough to protect users' computers from the increasing number of malware samples that are created every day," said
Panda Internet Security 2009 is oriented towards more experienced Internet users and includes a new Anti-Spam engine and Parental Control module. It also allows users to make backup copies of important files and information.

(i) For these purposes, Incident is defined as a failure or error occurring during the process of installing, uninstalling or operating the antivirus. Incidents can include issues concerning interaction with other applications, detection errors, and errors updating the Panda product. Comments related to aesthetic issues or product usability are considered as suggestions, and are therefore not called incidents. The Panda Security BetaCenter shall evaluate the quality of incidents reported, giving priority to those that are not in the \"Known issues\" documents delivered to all users when they download the beta version. Incidents reported by several users shall be considered equally valid for each user.
