Evian Hosts its First Floating Retreat at the Cannes Film Festival
ATLANTA, June 30 PRNewswire — More than just the world's best films premiered at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Evian(R) Natural Spring Water, the world's most luxurious premium natural spring water, debuted the Evian Royal Spa Cannes — an offshore pop-up spa to treat the celebrities and VIPs of one of the world's most famous film festivals. The eight day event became home to many private parties, exclusive lunches and evening soirees, in addition to the offering of heralded spa treatments perfected by France's own Evian Royal Resort.
During the day, this sublime yacht welcomed up to 800 guests onto its deck. The "Serenity Lunches" allowed guests the opportunity to nosh on some of the best cuisine in France. Dishes created by famed Chef Thierry Alix incorporated Evian water into their preparation. The "Water Bar" offered visitors refreshing glasses of the premium natural spring water, as well as non-alcoholic detox mocktails, all again made with Evian.
Festival revelers also enjoyed the relaxing Evian baths in the yacht's Jacuzzi. For those who preferred a more hands-on experience, the Evian Royal Spa Cannes delighted them with an Evian Ice Cube Massage, a unique experience enhanced by the picturesque views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Throughout its days on the water, the Evian Royal Spa Cannes entertained the likes of Brazilian top model Bruna for a photo shoot with GQ. Lady Victoria Hervey, an English socialite and aristocrat, graced the yacht during one of its afternoon serenity lunches. Jimmy Jean-Louis, one of the stars on the hit television show Heroes, also stopped by for a little relaxation.
Kappauf, founder and editor of Citizen K magazine, and jewelry designer Orianne Collins were on board for a very exclusive fundraising cocktail party. The magnificent Evian yacht welcomed many prestigious guests and helped Collins to raise euro 15,000 (around $23,000 USD) for the Little Dreams Foundation, which she created with former husband Phil Collins.
In the past, Evian has hosted pop-up spas stateside in both New York City and Los Angeles, which were both huge successes and laid the groundwork for the Evian Royal Spa Cannes.
