Pearson Launches PowerSchool Premier 5.2 at National Education and Computing Conference

PowerSchool Premier 5.2 represents the next evolution of the leading web-based student information system. In response to customer feedback, this latest version includes multiple system upgrades and user interface enhancements to create a more immersive and interactive user experience.
Additionally, PowerSchool Premier 5.2 includes support for the Oracle Database. The upgrade to Oracle enables increased scalability and cross-platform capabilities. As a result, PowerSchool Premier will soon be able to run on Intel-based Macintosh hardware - making PowerSchool Premier the only SIS capable of running natively on Mactel servers. Support for the Intel-based Mac hardware for database servers is scheduled for Fall 2008.
