MTV Rocket Live Earth is Winner of Golden Awards in the US
NEW YORK, June 27 PRNewswire — John Doe Amsterdam has been recognized again with gold at the 2008 PROMAX and BDA Awards in New York City.
The Work of John Doe Amsterdam was honored with 5 medals: 4 Gold Medals and one Silver including the special Promax recognition "Top 10 Gold Award".
The winning work of John Doe is MTV Rocket Live Earth Day PSA; it is a promo/ commercial made for MTV Canada for the international MTV Switch campaign.
MTV Rocket Live Earth Day is about two guys who built their own Rocket to fly around and away. But before they take of the rocket falls and they fly low around planet earth.
MTV Switch aims to deliver simple tips to MTV's target audience of 15- to 25-year-olds to help them realize that small actions can make a big change to the world's carbon emissions.
The promo is directed by Hein Mevissen, owner of John Doe Amsterdam and director, the special effects, Condor does 3 D. The soundtrack is written by Dangerous Kitchen Music / Geert van Gaalen.
