China Industrial Waste Management's COO Attends ACE08 in Atlanta, Georgia

DALIAN, China, June 27 Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall — The Annual Conference & Exposition 2008 (ACE08) of the American Water Works Association was held June 8-12, 2008, in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Li Jun, Chief Operating Officer of China Industrial Waste Management (OTC Bulletin Board: CIWT), attended the event, which presented emerging scientific trends in the worldwide water industry.

During the conference and exposition, many companies expressed their interest in the water industry in China, and Mr. Li Jun had the opportunity to meet separately with representatives of some companies. Mr. Li commented that the conference presented the latest waster technologies and products and provided references for technological solutions that could be incorporated by China Industrial Waste Management.

Mr. Li also visited a company engaged in waste to energy technology located in New Jersey; the waste gasification equipment developed by the company, which turns waste into fuel gas, is an alternative technology for landfill and incineration. Mr. Li commented that there is a significant market in China for producing green energy from wastes.
