Bocada Releases Bocada Centralized Manager 2.0 for DPM 2007

BELLEVUE, Wash., June 25 PRNewswire — Today, Bocada, Inc., the pioneer and leading provider of data protection reporting and analysis solutions, announced general availability of the Bocada Centralized Manager 2.0 for Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2007 (DPM 2007). The Bocada Centralized Manager 2.0 for DPM 2007 enables backup, SQL, SharePoint, Exchange and Windows Server administrators and end users to easily manage the protection and recovery of Microsoft workloads.

Bocada Centralized Manager helps reduce complexity and ensure data recoverability by providing secure, centralized control and monitoring on all DPM 2007 data protection activities. Centralized Manager greatly improves administrative efficiencies, enhances IT communications and reporting and helps reduces overall costs making this solution a must have for any organization implementing multiple DPM 2007 servers to protect Microsoft workloads.

The new version enables users to monitor, configure and control multiple DPM 2007 servers from a central web based console. Bocada Centralized Manager is the only centralized management solution that allows for real time modifications to protection groups, disk pools and retention settings.
