The new Renaissance Gas Cooktops feature sleek and modern Illumina(TM) Burner Controls, which emit a cool blue glow to indicate when the burners are on. Each ergonomically designed die-cast metal knob has a clear lens insert that emits the blue light from below with a rubberized grip for added comfort when setting the flame. The SimmerSafe(TM) Indicator light is an additional reminder that the cooktop is on although the flame may be barely visible during simmer.
Precision SimmerSear(TM) Burners provide professional-level accuracy over a wide range of cooking temperatures, so every sear, saute and simmer comes out exactly the way the chef intended. These unique burners boast a high-heat output of up to 18,000 BTU and are equipped with industry leading technology that delivers unsurpassed performance for demanding cooks, so scallops sear evenly and delicate chocolates never scorch.
Each burner consists of a simple assembly with additional safety features to ensure a safe and secure cooking experience. The Perma-Flame(TM) technology automatically reignites the flame if it goes out unexpectedly for uninterrupted cooking and the unique SmartFlame(TM) feature reduces flame output under each grate finger, protecting the finish and longevity of the grates, so the cooktop retains its stylish appearance.
With a contemporary square design, the extra-wide Continuous Platform Grates provide generous space for any oversized pot, pan or wok without overcrowding the cooking surface and allows users to slide pots from one burner to another without lifting. And exclusive to Dacor, the sealed gas burners and one-piece spill basin feature an exclusive bead-blast finish for extra protection against abrasive cleansers, making daily clean-up easier than ever.
Available in two widths in stainless steel and black finishes, the Renaissance 36" Gas Cooktop features five burners with 12" grates and the 30" model features four burners with 10" grates.
