Fry, Inc. Develops E-commerce Capability for La-Z-Boy Furniture

ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 24 PRNewswire — Fry, Inc., a leading e-commerce solutions provider, today announced that La-Z-Boy Inc., one of the world's best known residential furniture manufacturers, has launched a new online storefront, developed by Fry. In addition to the online sales channel offered by La-Z-Boy's site, ( www.la-z-boy.com ) Fry created and implemented a new multi-channel order management system and a customer call center application for La-Z-Boy.

The storefront is built with Fry's Open Commerce Platform(TM) (OCP), an e-commerce solution that enables retailers to develop an online store and create or expand their e-commerce business. With OCP, the new La-Z-Boy site features flexible merchandising and promotional tools such as product compare functionality, and an easy-to-use checkout process.

La-Z-Boy's iconic recliners and other furniture are currently available on the site; in the next phase of development customers will be able to shop for tables, lamps and accessories as well. Online orders will be fulfilled through the national network of local La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores to ensure seamless service and delivery.
