Cut-It-Out Communications Announces Results of Survey About Online Public Relations
The survey was sent out to 200 business owners and senior executives, and generated some interesting results. While 42 percent of the respondents realized the importance of inbound links for search engine optimization (SEO), there seemed to be a disconnect in using the main tools for creating them. Only 16 percent contributed to content provision sites on a regular basis, and 50 percent had never used a blog.

In other results, only 28 percent of the respondents sent out an e-newsletter at least once a quarter, and 62 percent had no knowledge of html. In fact, 42 percent retained an I.T. consultant to update their websites.
