Trotec Laser Appoints Warren Knipple President of US Operations

YPISLANTI, Mich., June 18 PRNewswire — Trotec Laser, Inc., a leader in laser cutting, marking, and engraving solutions, today announced that Warren R. Knipple has been appointed to its executive team as President of its US operations. An experienced, results-driven executive with expertise spanning financial, international sales & marketing, and general management, Knipple brings to Trotec more than two decades of experience working with such global brands as Telesis Technologies, Inc., The Stanley Works, Rubbermaid, and Champion Spark Plug.

Throughout his career, Knipple has played a key role in developing and implementing innovative corporate, product, and customer strategies that increase sales while cutting costs. Most notably, as Chief Financial Officer and then Vice President at Telesis, Knipple orchestrated growth in the company's global revenues and drove dramatic increases in EBITDA. His responsibilities included implementing strategies for improved customer focus, sales diversification, and new market penetration, as well as managing Telesis' European sales, distribution, and manufacturing operations.

Over the last 20 years, Knipple has held a range of executive positions, most recently Chief Financial Officer at Windows Holding Corp., where he led a company restructuring that resulted in cost reductions, improved customer service, streamlined administrative procedures, and a restructuring of the companies debt and capital structure. Prior to serving at Telesis for over six years, Knipple worked for Stanley Air Tools Product Group, where his efforts led to a 15% increase in the company's EBITDA. He was also part of the Sportomotive Business Team at Rubbermaid's Seasonal Products Division, and began his career in the Champion Spark Plug division of Cooper Industries. Knipple holds a BBA from The University of Toledo and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
