rue21 Hires Senior Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Allocation from American Eagle Outfitters
WARRENDALE, Pa., June 18 PRNewswire — rue21, the specialty teen apparel retailer headquartered in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, announced it has hired Mark Chrystal as Senior Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Allocation from American Eagle Outfitters effective June 13, 2008. Mr. Chrystal was Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Allocation for the aerie brand and of Allocation for the American Eagle brand. He brings over 9 years of specialty retail experience. Prior to AEO, Chrystal was head of Planning and Allocation for the Disney Stores and Director of Planning for Victoria's Secret.

rue21 operates 382 stores in 41 states and will be opening 100 stores this year.
