MedeFile International Teams with Newark Fraternal Order of Police

CEDAR KNOLLS, N.J., June 18 PRNewswire-FirstCall — MedeFile International, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MDFI), a company specializing in portable electronic medical records management solutions, today announced that in collaboration with the Newark Fraternal Order of Police (NFOP), Lodge #12, the Company will supply every NFOP member police officer with MedeFile Basic memberships, which may then be upgraded to MedeFile Premium memberships by each officer at his or her own election.

Derick Hatcher, President of the NFOP, stated, "Law enforcement is a very dangerous business, requiring police officers to place their lives at risk every single day. In the event of a medical emergency involving an officer - particularly one in which he or she may be unconscious or otherwise unable to communicate, having immediate access to critical medical insight about the officer could prove to be vital. Teaming with MedeFile will ensure that our member officers are never without their personal emergency medical information."

Law enforcement has become an area of focused marketing by MedeFile over the past several months. "It is MedeFile's opinion that having immediate access to personal medical records is just as important as carrying a firearm when it comes to providing enhanced security and protection for an officer. Consequently, our sales and marketing teams have been actively engaged in discussions and marketing initiatives targeting our nation's law enforcement agencies, and our message is beginning to resonate throughout the country," stated Milton Hauser. "In addition to winning the enthusiastic support of the Newark Fraternal Order of Police, MedeFile enrolled nearly 1,000 new members - officers from all across the country - into the MedeFile system during our recent participation in National Police Week in Washington, D.C."

MedeFile International's overriding mission is to revolutionize the healthcare industry and empower patients by providing a 'one-stop-shop' secure solution for acquisition, organization and management of all actual medical, dental and general health records and images, regardless of their origin or nature. Moreover, the Company is committed to providing everyone within the universal healthcare system with efficient, secure, simple and cost-effective tools and services to facilitate the best, most economical, application of medical and health information, thus helping to enhance patients' medical outcomes without unnecessary costs, unnecessary redundancy in testing and treatment protocols, and unnecessary hassle typically associated with managing unwieldy 'paper' records and files.

By subscribing to MedeFile, not only will members empower themselves to take control of their own health and well-being, they empower all healthcare providers to make sound and lifesaving decisions with the most accurate, up-to-date medical information available. In addition, with MedeFile, members enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that family medical records are protected from fire, natural disaster, document misplacement or the closing of a medical or dental practice.

About MedeFile International, Inc.

MedeFile has developed a proprietary system for gathering and digitizing medical records so that individuals can have access to a comprehensive set of their medical records. MedeFile's primary product is the MedeFile system, a highly secure system for gathering and maintaining medical records. The MedeFile system is designed to gather all of its members' actual medical records and create a single resource that is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Representing an advanced, yet easy-to-use, approach to portable, electronic medical records management, MedeFile combines state-of-the-art technology and the Internet to make medical data instantly accessible to each MedeFile subscriber and his or her authorized healthcare providers from anywhere in the world. In addition to accessing one's medical records through MedeFile's secure Internet portal found at www.MedeFile.com, members can carry their entire medical history and emergency information wherever they go on a unique device called a MedeDrive - a proprietary USB drive designed to be carried on a keychain. The MedeDrive plugs into any USB port of a Windows-based PC; and because MedeDrive automatically loads its own viewer, users do not require any special programs or software to view data. MedeMobile provides on-the-go subscribers with the ability to enjoy even greater flexibility and access to their personal health information wherever and whenever they need it.
