Educational Services of America Names a New Senior VP of Operations

NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 18 PRNewswire — Educational Services of America (ESA) today announced Stephanie Martin has been appointed senior vice president of operations for College Living Experience (CLE), an ESA program that helps students with autism and other special needs attend college.

Martin will be responsible for all operations, clinical, behavioral and curricular initiatives for the six CLE locations. She previously served as senior vice president of program operations for ESA and was responsible for the development of education programs and services for the company's ESA Exceptional Schools, Spectrum Schools, College Living Experience and Ombudsman Educational Services. She has been associated with ESA for more than 10 years.

Martin is a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst with more than 12 years of experience in applied behavior analysis, positive behavior intervention and curriculum development.

"Stephanie possesses a strong clinical background in working with students with learning disabilities and other special needs," Mark Claypool, president and chief executive officer of ESA, said. "Her leadership will be instrumental in our continued development of programs and services to help young people with learning disabilities gain the academic, social and daily living skills required to transition to independent adulthood."

Martin received a bachelor of arts degree in social sciences from the University of California at Berkeley and earned several credentials and a master's degree in special education from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Calif.

College Living Experience is a post-secondary program for students who require additional support with academic, social and independent living skills because they have autism spectrum disorders, including Asperger's Syndrome, specific disabilities or social and emotional maturation issues.
