Grubb & Ellis Company Names Adele Simmons Vice President, Internal Audit

SANTA ANA, Calif., June 18 PRNewswire-FirstCall — Grubb & Ellis Company (NYSE: GBE), a leading real estate services and investment firm, today announced that Adele Simmons has joined the Company as Vice President of Internal Auditing.

Based in Santa Ana, Simmons' will be responsible for establishing an internal audit function centered around the reporting standards established by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

Simmons brings more than 18 years of experience to Grubb & Ellis. Most recently, she was Vice President, Internal Audit Americas for Experian. In this position, she was responsible for developing and executing audit plans, overseeing internal audit staff and executing key internal audit initiatives. Prior to Experian, Simmons served as a Senior Manager for Bearing Point, Inc., and held various director positions with Oracle Corp.

Simmons holds a bachelor's degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She is a Certified Public Accountant, as well as a Certified Information Systems Auditor.
