L&L Enters Into Joint Venture to Expand Operations at Two Coal Mines

SEATTLE, June 18 PRNewswire-FirstCall — L&L International Holdings, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: LLFH) ("L&L" or "the Company") a US company in the Chinese coal industry, today announced that it acquired a 60% equity of two mines in Yunnan, China.

The Company acquired a 60% equity share of a new joint venture (provisionally named as L&L Coal Inc., with registered capital of $10 million) which consists of two commercially licensed coal mines in Yunnan Province, the DaPuAn coal mine ("DaPuAn Mine") and SuTsong coal mine ("SuTsong Mine"). DaPuAn Mine and SuTsong Mine produce coal of approx. 150,000 tons and approx. 90,000 tons respectively. In 2007, the two mines generated net profit of $5.2 million and $2.9 million, respectively, subject to audit.

The Company after completion of an audit of the two coal mines, will register the American controlled joint venture with the Chinese government. Based on estimates, two mines in 2008 will generate $11 million profit.

L&L also plans to inject $20 million into the joint venture, to expand existing coal production to 450,000 tons following government approval. In addition, L&L intends to construct a new coke factory at the DaPuAn mine, when capital is assured.
