ZINO Society's Call for Entrepreneurs Seeking Funding

SEATTLE, June 17 PRNewswire — A $150,000 investment fund will be awarded to the best investment opportunities at the 3rd annual ZINO Zillionaire Investment Forum (ZZIF), to be held September 16, 2008 at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle.

Companies from all industries that are seeking seed, early-stage, or expansion funding and have a definable product or service are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is July 25, 2008

Of the applicants, 28 will be selected by the ZZIF screening board to present at the ZINO Zillionaire Investment Forum. The selected companies will receive individual coaching by members of the ZZIF Coaching Board. In addition, the selected companies will be profiled in the August 29, 2008 Puget Sound Business Journal insert.

The ZZIF fund investors will choose three technology companies and three non-technology companies as finalists, who will be asked questions by an expert panel during the Due Diligence LIVE! segment of the event. Of the finalists, the best investment opportunities will be selected by the 2008 ZZIF fund investors, with $50,000 to be awarded to the Best Technology Investment, $50,000 to be awarded to the Best Non-technology Investment, and $50,000 to be awarded to the Best Overall Investment. The fund announcements will occur immediately following the presentations at an Awards Ceremony and Wine Reception. Additional non-cash ZINO Zenith prizes will be awarded for Best Presentation and Best Investment Opportunity as selected by all ZZIF attendees.
