Pierre's Ice Cream Company Expands Successful Super Premium Pure Fruit Sherbet Line

CLEVELAND, May 20 PRNewswire — Pierre's Ice Cream Company, a leader in the production and distribution of gourmet ice cream products, announces four new additions to its highly successful Hola Fruta!(R) product line. Translated "Hello Fruit," the Hola Fruta!(R) product line contains all-natural, unique sherbet flavors blended from the finest fruit purees and luscious pieces of real fruit. Mango will be the eighth flavor added to the line, which already includes: Margarita, Peach, Pina Colada, Pomegranate, Pomegranate-Blueberry, Raspberry, and Strawberry. Also, Pina Colada was added to the Pint line. In addition, the company is introducing two new 100-calorie Hola Fruta!(R) bars in Pomegranate-Blueberry and Pina Colada.

In 2007, Hola Fruta!(R) was launched in more than 3,000 stores nationwide. Since then, that number has increased by 42% with the eight unique Hola Fruta!(R) flavors and two flavors of bars being sold at more than 4,400 stores in 34 states. Stores which featured Hola Fruta!(R) last year experienced double digit growth in their sherbet categories (versus previous year's sales).
