Dahlman Rose & Co. Expands Research Coverage into Metals and Mining Sector

NEW YORK, May 20 PRNewswire — Dahlman Rose & Co., LLC, a leading investment bank specializing in global energy and commodity supply chain sectors, today announced a significant expansion of its research coverage with the appointment of Tony Rizzuto as Managing Director, Equity Research, focusing on the Global Metals and Mining sector.

Mr. Rizzuto has been a member of the Institutional Investor All-American Research Team for 17 consecutive years, and was most recently ranked No. 1 in the 2007 survey. Prior to joining Dahlman Rose, Mr. Rizzuto was a Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co., where he was employed since 1993. Mr. Rizzuto received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University in 1982.

In addition to Mr. Rizzuto's appointment with Dahlman Rose, Daniel M. Whalen and Anthony Young, former Associate Analysts with Bear, Stearns & Co., will be joining the firm to complete Mr. Rizzuto's Metals and Mining team. Mr. Whalen brings seven years of buy-side experience as well as four years of sell-side experience, including coverage in energy, industrials, and materials sectors. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bucknell University in 1996. Mr. Young, who received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, has worked within the utilities, coal, and Metals and Mining industries since 2004.
