REELcomp to Award Grand Prize in Skate and Snow Competitions
LAS VEGAS, May 20 PRNewswire — REELcomp, the premier destination to upload original board sport footage to share and compete in online contests, announced today that the final bracket competitions for Skateboarding and Snowboarding are underway awarding Grand Prizes worth thousands of dollars to two lucky winners.
The culmination of 32 weeks of competition, the final round for Skateboarding kicked off on May 18, 2008, and will last one week, resulting in the selection of the winning video. The overall winner will receive a Grand Prize valued at nearly $10,000, including a Panasonic HVX200, four complete sets of Analog 2009 Street Wear, a year's supply of skate shoes from Circa, and a gift card from PortersTahoe.com.
As the Snowboarding season wraps up, REELcomp ramps up for the Snowboarding video competition finals, launching on May 25, 2008. The winning video will make it through 4 rounds of finals and its creator will win an all expense paid trip to New Zealand, sponsored by All Star Trips, and a complete head-to-board setup from Rome SDS. Categories for the Snowboard competition are the same as those for Skateboarding, and anyone can enter and win as long as their video complies with contest rules.
REELcomp is running several contests simultaneously, in addition to the Skate and Snowboard finals, athletes can also enter their "sponsor me" video in the Maloof Money Cup/REELcomp Search for AM's contest which will award four winners, two each from the Street and Vert competitions, a chance to compete in the Maloof Money Cup for a $100,000 prize.
