Actions Semiconductor Announced As The Exclusive MPR Chip Provider

MPR is a newly developed technology which applies Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) onto the paper publications (Reader). MPR has the capability to be widely accepted by global publication houses because of the possibility of its technology becoming the international standard. All publications in any languages can be published as MPR publications. With a MPR reader, wherever you are, you can read and listen to all of the MPR publications. Understanding the letters you can't read and learning the words you can't speak, that's the advantage of MPR achievements. Such applications allow more interactive learning, thus changing the landscape of traditional textbook-only style of learning.
The potential market for MPR is enormous and can be widely used in all types of publications such as children's books, primary & secondary school textbooks, language-learning materials, novels, dictionaries and so on.
