HUGHES Telematics Scores Two Award Nominations from Telematics Update

ATLANTA, May 15 PRNewswire — HUGHES Telematics, a pioneer in end-to-end telematics solutions, has been selected as a finalist for two Telematics Awards from Telematics Update in the categories of Telematics Leadership and Best Embedded Telematics Service. Winners will be announced at the 2008 Telematics Awards on May 20, 2008 in Novi, Michigan.

HUGHES Telematics' individual nominee in the Telematics Leadership category is Erik Goldman, the company's president. An electrical engineer with a background in telecommunications, specifically cellular, satellite and military communications systems, Goldman has a solid track record of identifying uses for cutting-edge technologies far beyond their intended purposes.
