Brocade Showcases Server-to-Storage Connectivity and Green Technology
Brocade demonstrations taking place at Blade Systems Insights in Booth 107 on the exhibitor floor include the following:
* Brocade will demonstrate its latest 8 Gbit/sec HBA technology and embedded switches for blade servers. Additionally, Brocade will showcase the new Brocade 300 Switch alongside Brocade Access Gateway.
Brocade will also participate in the following breakout sessions during the conference:
* Tuesday, May 13 at 10:10 a.m. PDT and also at 2:05 p.m. PDT - Chip Copper, Brocade Principal Engineer, will present a \"Case Study\" presentation and discuss the increased adoption of blade systems and show how they dramatically change the storage infrastructure requirements in the enterprise. In this session, Copper will show that Storage Area Networks (SANs) provide the optimal deployment environment for blade systems implementations. This session will also run on Wednesday, May 14 at 2:35 p.m. PDT. * Wednesday, May 14 at 3:50 p.m. PDT - Chip Copper, Brocade Principal Engineer, will participate on a Green Storage Initiative Panel moderated by Rob Peglar from the SNIA Board of Directors, also featuring executives from 3PAR and Microsoft.
