Harrisburg Woman Wins $500,000 Top Prize from Pennsylvania Lottery

HARRISBURG, Pa., May 8 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — A Harrisburg woman who won $500,000 cash, the top prize in the Pennsylvania Lottery's $10 instant ticket game, Glittering Diamonds, picked up her winnings today.

Secretary of Revenue Tom Wolf and Pennsylvania Lottery officials presented a ceremonial check to Janet Davis at the 7-Eleven on Walnut Street in Harrisburg where she bought her winning ticket on April 11. The store received a $500 bonus for the sale.

Davis, who is an accounts payable employee at Clark Transfer, said she purchases instant tickets occasionally, but only at the 7-Eleven.

As of May 6, two top Glittering Diamonds prizes of $500,000; four prizes of $250,000; and nine prizes of $25,000 remain in the game.
