As a narcotics investigator, Acquisto eradicated more than 150 methamphetamine labs, testified as an expert in state and Federal courts, and trained hundreds of criminal justice officials and civilians in methamphetamine awareness. He is an OSHA/DEA certified Clandestine Lab Technician and Site Safety Officer. In recent years, Acquisto has served in director-level positions with various state offices including the Kentucky Office of Charitable Gaming and Office of Alcohol Beverage Control, and worked extensively on methamphetamine legislation (Senate Bill 63.)
