Roederer Estate Acquires Prime Pinot Noir Vineyards in Anderson Valley

PHILO, Calif., May 8 PRNewswire — Roederer Estate (http://www.roedererestate.com), the California outpost of Champagne Louis Roederer, has acquired 27.41 acres of prime land in the Anderson Valley. The new property, which is neighboring Roederer Estate vineyards, has 17.56 acres of planted and producing pinot noir, therefore increasing the winery's vineyard ownership in the Anderson Valley to 486.36 acres.

The additional land purchase further emphasizes Roederer Estate's commitment to 100-percent vineyard ownership and allows the winery to keep up with its commercial success. Since its establishment in 1982, Roederer Estate has maintained a strong belief in complete control of vineyard management to produce consistent, high-quality wine. The undertaking of the newly acquired vineyard land reflects this philosophy and also ensures this same premium quality and availability of wine in the future.
