The Halo Group Takes Top International Creative Award

NEW YORK, May 7 PRNewswire — The Halo Group is a Best of Show winner in the 2008 Summit Creative Awards competition for creative work for Guy Carpenter, a leading global reinsurance intermediary. Halo's Origami campaign, which illustrates how reinsurance can free capital for its clients, features global currency folded into origami shapes including a swarm of arrows, flying cranes, and blowing dandelions.

The Summits give Best of Show in five categories only; this year's competition drew over 5000 entries from 25 countries. Halo also won a Gold, three Silvers and a Bronze for work for Guy Carpenter, St. George's University and Plan!t Now.

The Summit Creative Awards recognizes and celebrates the creative accomplishments of advertising agencies and other creative groups with annual billings of $30 million or less. Over the past 15 years, the competition has established itself as the premier arbiter of creative excellence for firms of this size. All entries are reviewed and scored by a panel of 16 judges representing many of today's top creative agencies worldwide.

"The Summits are an affirmation of the excellence of our work," says Linda Passante, Halo CEO. "The big shows tend to recognize only work produced for big brands - a shame, because sometimes even better work is produced for the challenger brands."
