MIPSolutions, Inc. Reduces Expense and Development Time Associated With Precious Metal Extraction

SPOKANE, Wash., May 7 PRNewswire-FirstCall — MIPSolutions, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MSOL) Recent testing in MIPSolution's laboratory at the University of Utah has revealed a significant development in the area of Molecularly Imprinting. It was discovered that Molecularly Imprinted Ionomer (MII) beads imprinted to retain silver could readily capture gold while excluding other metals. This translates into decreased development time, a large amount of capital expense savings and a simplified field use plan.

"These serendipitous results greatly simplify our R&D plans for precious metals while significantly reducing costs," said Glen Southard, Chief Science Officer of MIP. "The ability to use the same MII beads to isolate two different precious metals will save significant amounts of capital expense and development time."

In other news, the laboratory added a Schlenk system to improve quality control and purity of MIPSolution's MII beads and their feedstock. This system is used to handle inert gasses and is coupled with a vacuum system that helps control oxygen content, humidity, cleanliness and volatile organic compound content during chemical reactions.
