BetterThanDiamond.com Spring Sales Revenue Surges 70 Percent

REDMOND, Wash., May 5 PRNewswire — BetterThanDiamond.com (http://BetterThanDiamond.com) announced that sales revenue has continued its double digit growth into 2008, capped by a record 70 percent increase in sales for April. Sales growth was driven by record sales for the Asha(R) Diamond Simulant, as well as their Takara lab grown diamonds.

"We have been very pleased with the continuing demand for our products," said Less Wright, president of BetterThanDiamond. "We introduced the sixth generation of the Asha(R) diamond simulant in February, which adds a new proprietary optical layer with a higher refractive index than natural diamond. We've also continued to increase the supply of our lab grown Takara yellow, blue and pink diamonds."

Wright noted that their pink diamonds frequently sold in less than eight hours after being posted for sale on their Takara website (http://TakaraDiamonds.com), and that production still had a long ways to go to satisfy worldwide demand for their lab grown diamonds.
