Oil Industry Exec Joins Vidoop Management Team

TULSA, Okla., May 2 PRNewswireMatt Selbie joins fast growing Tulsa-based online multifactor authentication provider, Vidoop, as Vice President of Marketing.

"Matt is an enormous asset to the Vidoop team," said co founder and President, Joel Norvell. "His extensive brand building and advertising experience will ensure the Vidoop brands are top of mind with our target customers."

As Vice President of Marketing at Vidoop, Selbie is charged with expanding the myVidoop and ConfIdent Technologies brands. Selbie will also manage external communications and develop the advertising business models for Vidoop's unique "ImageShield" grid that is the foundation for its multifactor authentication management solutions. The grid displays images that replace conventional usernames and passwords. The images can be sponsored, providing advertisers a unique way of communicating with consumers.

Selbie brings over twenty years of experience in the areas of business strategy, operations and marketing management. He has worked in Europe, Asia, South America and the US. Prior to Vidoop, he was ConocoPhillips Brand Manager. Selbie has an MBA from Warwick University Business School (UK).

Selbie's appointment follows closely behind that of Scott Kveton, Chair of the OpenID Foundation who joined Vidoop in February as the company's VP of Open Platforms.
