MoreMagic Offers Electronic Recharge with Telefonica

NEWTON, Mass., and QUITO, Ecuador, April 30 PRNewswire — MoreMagic Solutions, a leading mobile payments platform provider, and Businesswise S.A., B'WISE, a leading distributor of mobile services in Ecuador, announced today that Telefonica Moviles S.A. is offering electronic recharge for all mobile phone customers in Ecuador, using the MoreMagic MTopUp solution. The electronic recharge service, offered by Telefonica-Movistar, is available through dealers, retailers, and merchants using a mobile handset, POS device, or web interface. The dealer enters the customer's mobile phone number, a pin code and the credit amount, and the mobile airtime is immediately available for the customer.

The MoreMagic MTopUp electronic recharge solution enables Telefonica- Movistar to reach more mobile customers in Ecuador, eliminating costly scratch card distribution and shipping. Offering MTopUp services throughout the country, Telefonica has broadened its outlets to include gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores, including the SUPERMAXI chain of stores. With the MoreMagic platform, B'WISE has the flexibility to offer specific commission plans and multiple offerings for Telefonica, and can verify accounting of airtime as required.
