Authors Of New Critically Acclaimed Book 'Distorted' Share Their Journey From an Eating Disorder at a Book Signing Event in Wickenburg

"Distorted" (Health Communications Inc., $14.95, paperback, 256 pages) hit the shelves the first week in February and tells the tale of how a mother and daughter unraveled the lies and the realities of an eating disorder. Taryn suffered from both anorexia and bulimia for more than three years. In the book, she writes about what she went through and how loved ones were affected by the disorder. Buzz about the book is fast moving and the co-authors have already appeared on NBC's Today Show and the Montel Williams Show.

The eating disorder ripped apart Lorri and Taryn's mother-daughter relationship, but writing the book brought them closer and repaired their bond.
