Ricoh Hosts Electronics Recycling Day for Employees
Ricoh, a recognized leader in environmental conservation and a charter member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program, will set up collection sites at its facilities for employees to drop off unwanted computers, keyboards, televisions, modems, fax machines, printers, scanners, handheld games, telephones, cell phones, cameras, pagers, VCRs, tape decks, CD players, movie projectors, tape recorders, radios, and other electronic products. All of the equipment that is collected will be sent to a certified de-manufacturer to be processed. The materials will be returned to the appropriate commodity materials streams for use in manufacturing other products. Zero material will be disposed in landfills.
