Rising Medical Solutions Donates Piggybanks to Children's Memorial Hospital
CHICAGO, April 17 PRNewswire — Rising Medical Solutions, Inc. (Rising) recently donated piggybanks to Children's Memorial Hospital for a fundraising event that will take place next month.
The Third Annual La Que Buena Radiothon for Children's Memorial Hospital is being hosted by Chicago's 105.1 FM Spanish radio station. The 84-hour live Radiothon event is being held in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago from May 1 - 4 and an estimated 10,000+ listeners will attend to hear a sampling of stories from the over 113,000 kids served at Children's Memorial.
Last year the event raised an impressive 1 million+ dollars for the children at Children's Memorial Hospital. Included among those who made contributions were kids who donated their very own piggybanks to the cause. Working with the hospital's Corporate and Foundation Gifts team, Rising has given hundreds of piggybanks that will be handed out to children who bring a donation to the Radiothon event.
