Cargill and Elevance Form Joint Marketing Alliance to Provide Novel Renewable Wax Products to Europe

Partnership will bring new technology to European wax market

LISLE, Ill., April 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Cargill Refined Oils Europe and Elevance Renewable Sciences, Inc. today announced a joint marketing relationship that will provide new candle and corrugated products to European customers.

Under the agreement, Cargill, a leading supplier of vegetable-based waxes to European candle and corrugated customers, will work with Elevance to accelerate the introduction of Elevance's unique technology and products across Europe. The partnership will add value for European wax customers by providing enhanced vegetable-based waxes with novel functionality and improved performance that will complement Cargill's existing line of Strahlux(TM) products.

The parties have already begun discussing immediate needs and solutions for the European consumer marketplace. They expect sales development activities to be underway by early summer.
