IOGEAR's New DVI Video / Audio Extender Kit Amplifies Signals With a Single Cable
The kit consists of two DVI units, a local transmitter and a remote receiver, which users connect with a CAT 5e/6 Ethernet cable. Using DVI cords, the transmitting component links to the native source and the receiving extender hooks up to a DVI display. Ideal for audio / video set-ups in remote, insecure locations, the product can broadcast audio and video material for a variety of digital signage settings, including exhibits, trade shows, train stations and airports. Universities can also benefit from this product, allowing teachers to educate students in two or more classrooms at once.
Equipped with an analog 3.5mm jack, the DVI Video / Audio Extender Kit can connect to stereo speakers. Additionally, by working with a CAT 5e/6 cable, it offers an affordable alternative to individuals having to use 100-foot DVI cords.
