Bischof Promoted to Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management at Conseco

CARMEL, Ind., April 14 PRNewswire-FirstCall — Conseco, Inc. (NYSE: CNO) announced that Timothy S. Bischof has been promoted to vice president, enterprise risk management, reporting to Tim Tongson, senior vice president and corporate actuary. Mr. Bischof is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the enterprise-wide risk management process in conjunction with Conseco's Enterprise Risk Management Committee.

At Conseco, Mr. Bischof served previously as senior director, corporate actuarial, with responsibility for supporting the chief actuary in providing oversight of the company's insurance businesses and planning leadership. He joined the company in 2001, following six years as an actuary with Indianapolis Life Insurance Co. and CIGNA Corp.

Mr. Bischof, 36, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and education from Rockhurst College, and a Master of Science in statistics from the University of Iowa. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
