Borcherding Promoted to Vice President, Internal Audit at Conseco

CARMEL, Ind., April 14 PRNewswire-FirstCall — Conseco, Inc. (NYSE: CNO) announced that Tricia L. Borcherding has been promoted to vice president, internal audit, reporting to Neal Schneider, chair of the Audit and Enterprise Risk Committee of the Board of Directors, and to Conseco CEO Jim Prieur.

At Conseco, Ms. Borcherding served previously as manager, senior manager and director of internal audit. She joined the company in 2001, following four years in the Global Risk Management Solutions practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Ms. Borcherding, 32, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and computer information systems from Indiana University. A Certified Public Accountant, she is a member of the Indiana CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the board of governors of the Indianapolis chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
