Pyramid Technologies Settles Into New Facility

MERIDEN, Conn., April 8, 2008 PRNewswire — Pyramid Technologies (http://www.ptitime.com), an established leader in manufacturing Time and Attendance products, recently moved its corporate headquarters across town to 45 Gracey Avenue, Meriden, Connecticut.

Pyramid has operated successfully for nearly 40 years in Meriden and wanted to stay in the town they call home. After spending four decades at their 48 Elm Street location, the former office space and manufacturing facility was not adaptable enough for Pyramid's growing business. "As our growth in the industry increased, this move became imperative," stated John Augustyn, President.

The Elm Street building could no longer handle Pyramid's needs. It was divided into three floors, which became cumbersome. As Augustyn explained, "Our new space has a more fluid design with everything on one floor, making it a more conducive environment for a growing company like Pyramid."

The company continues to expand its product offerings, and that means more space was needed for assembly and storage, particularly for its growing wireless clock system product line. Pyramid can store more products and accessories in stock to respond more quickly to their customers' needs. With closer proximity to major interstates and more loading docks in its expanded shipping and receiving area, Pyramid can get products out the door and on the road to customers even quicker than before.

An added benefit of the Gracey Avenue location is that it puts Pyramid in Meriden's Enterprise Zone, which offers tax abatements to manufacturers that locate to or expand within the zone.
