Salon City Files 10-KSB for FY2007; Annual Revenues Up 16%

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., March 18 PRNewswire-FirstCall — Salon City, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SLON), the first publicly-traded media company to brand the professional salon industry to consumers, today announced that it has filed its Form 10-KSB with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Form was filed on 14 March and included audited financial results for the fiscal year ending 31 December 2007.

The results showed that revenues increased 16% in FY2007, compared with FY2006. In 2007, Salon City, Inc. launched four new, strategic media products: Salon City magazine, an internationally distributed consumer publication; a digital edition of the magazine; a newly re-designed web destination; and an all-new scripted web show series.

An investors' conference call (also open to all interested parties) is scheduled for 4 pm EDT on 20 March (605/475-6300, Code 010405; toll charge applies) to review the filing and to brief listeners on interpreting the annual report.

Steven Casciola, president and CEO of Salon City, Inc. will chair the call. He explained that, "We took investment-spending steps to begin branding Salon City's name globally, to expand the company's media products, to broaden relationships with sophisticated investment markets by incurring the financial costs of filing with the SEC, and to seek approval to have SLON's securities traded on the OTCBB.
