Plexus Online Drives Efficient Operations at NHK Spring Precision of America, Inc.
AUBURN HILLS, Mich.,
NSPA produces and sells springs for engine valves and automatic transmissions for automobiles. The company was seeking an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for its manufacturing operations in Kentucky.
Plexus Systems held the key with its on-demand solution, which features functions such as ERP, accounting and finance modules, customer relationship management (CRM) features such as order entry and tracking, manufacturing execution systems (MES) function such as production scheduling and supply chain management (SCM) functions such as supplier quality and traceability. Now, Plexus Online manages NSPA's operations data, software and hardware, which enables NSPA's managers to focus on operations by tracking and managing critical aspects of their business using a web browser from anywhere in the world at any time.
"We recommended Plexus Online because it is the only viable hosted solution for this size of business in the marketplace, and it was a good fit with NSPA's operating plan," said Yusuke Kuramochi, Partner, Plante & Moran Technology Consulting Solutions practice.
"Implementing the Plexus product at NSPA added significant value for their customers and they are looking into implementing additional functionalities including the Quality Assurance and OEE Reporting features."
Plante & Moran helped identify the Plexus solution for NSPA and led the implementation, providing project leadership, software training and guidance through the testing, cutover and go-live activities.
