Raymarine Names Sal Alfano Pro Ambassador of the Year

MERRIMACK, N.H., March 17 PRNewswire — Raymarine, Inc., a world leader in marine electronics, today announced that Sal Alfano has been named the 2007 Raymarine Pro Ambassador of the Year. The annual award recognizes exceptional Pro Ambassadors for their work representing and promoting Raymarine and its products. Throughout the year, Raymarine ambassadors earn points for a variety of promotion activities, including tournament victories, media appearances and work "on the docks" promoting Raymarine, and the Ambassador who earns the most points is awarded the title along with official sponsorship from Raymarine.

Known to Raymarine users on Long Island as "the Guru," Alfano has equipped his 50' Sea Ray with a multitude of Raymarine electronics including two of the company's award-winning E120 multifunction displays, three CAM100 marine cameras, an ST6001 Autopilot Control Head, a Ray240 VHF Radio and the DSM300 Digital Sounder Module, which adds HD Digital(TM) technology to Raymarine E- Series and C-Series displays. Also onboard, Alfano has the Raymarine LifeTag(TM) Man Overboard (MOB) System, a personal wireless man overboard system that monitors up to 16 tagged crew members at once.
