Media Advisory - World's largest industrial auctioneer marks 50-year milestone in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, March 12 PRNewswire-FirstCall - Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA), the world's largest auctioneer of industrial equipment, will mark its 50-year milestone in Las Vegas Thursday while conducting its first unreserved public auction at its new Las Vegas, NV auction site. Ritchie Bros. CEO Peter Blake will present Dave Ritchie with a gold 50-year anniversary pin during a mid-morning ceremony in front of the auction crowd.

The auction and ceremony will take place the same time as ConExpo, the western hemisphere's premier construction exhibition, held in Las Vegas, March 11-15, 2008.
