AbitibiBowater reschedules release of fourth quarter and full year 2007 results

MONTREAL, Feb. 19 PRNewswire-FirstCall - AbitibiBowater Inc. today announced that it will reschedule the release of its financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2007 and the associated conference call until February 28, 2008.

The Company is taking additional time to finalize its results as they represent the first period of combined operations of Abitibi-Consolidated Inc. and Bowater Incorporated since the completion of their combination in the fourth quarter of 2007.

The Company was originally scheduled to issue its fourth quarter results and host a conference call on Wednesday, February 20, 2008.

Management will hold a conference call to discuss these financial results at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time, February 28, 2008. The conference call number is 1-866-898-9626 or 514-868-1042.
