NEW YORK and
The Gaming Laboratories International, Inc. tests focused on the physical and robust security attributes, including physical and electronic hardware, components tampering and overall software integrity, against external manipulation of the GameCard for fraudulent prize and points awards. The Gaming Laboratories tests validate the continuing EGC Research and Development expenditure as GLI failed to breach, without obvious evidence, the product to alter any points or prize totals which may have lead to fraudulent award claims.
"EGC, Inc. continues to develop new products and enhance the highly successful Electronic GameCards(TM) security and robustness to provide our clients with the utmost confidence," said a spokesperson of Electronic Game Card. "As we increase our international gaming revenue activities it was important to the company and its continued revenue growth to have a highly respected, and totally independent, test organisation like Gaming Laboratories International validate our Electronic GameCard(TM) security, product hardware and software integrity. The successful GLI test takes our product to the next level of international Gaming acceptance and the creation of a new standard for secure, stand alone, extended play and instant win products. This validation, in addition to our license as a NIGC Class II device, creates a formidable competitive advantage for our company."
The nature of the evaluation and the detailed security testing remain confidential but the investigation included Electronic Static Discharge, Tamperproof, Solvent Resistance, Software Security, Result Verification and Security Label Test and compliancy with EU directive 2002/95/EG for the Electronic GameCard(TM).
