MapMyRun.com Partners with End Result, Inc. to Offer Integrated Event Registration, Online Race Results with Their Existing Suite of Online Fitness Tools
Event registration on MapMyFitness will be powered by End Result's GetMeRegistered.com Web site. The site provides online registration services for marathons, half-marathons, triathlons, 5K races, conferences, and other special events. Online registration is free for event organizers. Costs are absorbed by the event registrants, who pay the entry fee plus a small percentage of that fee for the convenience of online registration. Paper registrations can be manually entered into the system so that a complete and secure database of all registrants is maintained.
Race Results on MapMyFitness will be powered by End Result's OnlineRaceResults.com Web site. The site provides race results including finishing times, awards, and placement. Viewers can search for participants by name or bib number. The race results service will be free for all events posted on MapMyFitness sites and will fully integrate with training logs, map creation tools, and the MapMyFitness forums.
